I'm Mary Ellen Bates and my passion is helping clients make strategic decisions. I used to work in specialized libraries (law firm, federal courts, research company, telecom company) until I got tired of the tedium of a steady paycheck. In 1991, I started Bates Information Services, providing business research to business professionals and consulting and training services to the information industry.
