Oh, [insert bad word here]. Furl.net has just been acquired by Diigo. And I was JUST THIS MINUTE getting ready to Furl my umpty-billion URLS for my upcoming talks.
From all I can tell, it's got the same or more functionality. That's not the point.
They did not consult with me, personally, before making this switch. I just sent in all my handouts, that touted Furl.net. And right this moment, I am waiting for them to do whatever they do behind the scenes to move my bookmarks over.
This transition better go smoothly, or someone's going to get hurt.
It took me about 18 hours to get all my Furled links.
Anyone know how to get Diigo to do what Furl does, generating code to dynamically display Furled links on a web page???

I clicken on the link to transfer all my Furl links about 2 hours ago and am still waiting for the "success" email. I hate relying on these web technologies that go away since they are usually the ones I forget to start a secondary backup for!
