I've always been fascinated by Stonehenge -- how the heck did people in 2200 BCE manage to raise the standing stones and lintels? This way-cool video shows a guy who has figured out how to accomplish it using nothing more than the principle of the teeter-totter. My inner geek loves this kind of stuff...
Love the video on Stonehenge! FYI, I'm referencing your blog (where I found the video!) in my blog for LibraryJournal-- "Student Affairs"...
Thanks! -Staci

Hi Mary,
I found your post while doing some monitoring for my client, the Smithsonian Channel.
Judging that you've always been interested in Stonehenge, you might be interested to know that today the first excavation of the site in nearly half a century started. The two week dig is being covered by the Smithsonian Channel in a joint venture with the BBC.
There is a bunch of videos and other information at this link:

You can also interact with David Royle, the Executive Producer of the Smithsonian Channel - he is live blogging from Stonehenge at http://community.smithsonianchannelcommunity.com/droyle.
